Welcome to Northeast. Let’s start our journey to the land of Ahom Palaces and Monuments – Sivasagar. The mighty Ahoms ruled Assam for six centuries. Sivasagar, earlier it was known as Rangpur, the capital of the Ahom Kingdom from 1699 to 1788. On arrival check into the hotel.

A journey to the largest river Island in the world. We will cross the River Brahmaputra by ferry. Majuli is also known as the religious Hub of Assam. With different communities and tribes the largest population of the Mishing tribe. But before we understand the Mishing tribe we will visit Satra – we will understand about the Neo Vaisnavisim – the religion started by Srimanta Sankardev. As we will explore all the Satra we will visit the Mask Making Satra – the Uniqueness of the Satra i.e they make Religious Mask used in different Religious dramas, well I am weak at word to describe but trust me on the experience. Later we will visit the Pottery village – the unique pottery making style without using the pottery wheel, want to try your hands? It’s time to understand the Mishing tribe now – As I always say the best way to know a community or a tribe is to get into their food, into their kitchen. We will experience how, where and what about the Mishing tribe residing in the River Island. We will definitely try “Apong”. We will also interact with the Bhokot ( Neo Vaisnav Saints) in the Satra and understand about Neo Vaisnavisim and their daily routines.

After breakfast drive to Heritage Tea Bungalows of Jorhat. It’s peaceful and serene surrounding will definitely want every traveler to stay in Heritage Tea Bungalows. On arrival check into the Bungalow.

Let’s start our journey to the land of Big 5 & famous for the one Horn Rhinos: Kaziranga. As we drive, find the calmness and the peace through the road. As we reach Kaziranga admiring the beauty, it’s time for us to have a relax evening! We will Visit Kaziranga Orchid Park to enjoy the cultural show that showcases the cultural dance and culture of Assam and its tribes. Trust me you won’t regret, the tiredness in you will be eased.

Let’s be early today – are you excited for the safari, let’s witness the Rhinos, i.e what Kaziranga is famous for. We have an early morning Elephant safari. Later post Lunch we have Jeep Safari waiting for us. Let’s enjoy the safari. As we drive back from the safari, let’s take some rest.

After a peaceful breakfast, we will begin our journey back, carrying with us the countless memories we’ve created along the way. I hope this trip has left you with experiences to cherish for a lifetime. On arrival we will proceed for River Cruise at Mighty Brahmaputra River.

After breakfast visit to Maa Kamakhya Temple, The Kamakhya Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya. It is one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pitha & situated on the Nilachal Hill in western part of Guwahati city in Assam. Later we will drop at Guwahati Airport. This marks the end of our unforgettable adventure together, but the memories will stay with us long after. What is the cancellation policy?
- 25% of the full amount to be paid if cancellation is made 15 days or more before the trip starts.
- 50% of the full amount to be paid if cancellation is made 8 to 15 days before the trip starts.
- 100% of the full amount to be paid if cancellation is made 7 days before the trip starts.
- All applicable cancellation refund will be made within 10 days of raising the concern.
Payment Terms & Conditions
REGISTRATION: The registration is open to all on first come first serve basis. After confirmation of the package, deposit the 50% amount of the Total Package Costing. The balance amount is payable seven days prior to the scheduled departure or before. Delayed payments will attract penalties.
