Upon your arrival at Bagdogra/NJP, we’ll begin our journey with a transfer to Phuentsholing, the Indo-Bhutan border and your gateway to the Kingdom of Bhutan by road. After completing the immigration formalities, we’ll head towards Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city, nestled at an altitude of 7,710 feet (2,350 meters). The scenic drive takes us through Chhukha, and along the way, we’ll stop for a delightful lunch with a view of the impressive hydro power plants. As we arrive in Thimphu, check into your hotel and unwind. In the evening, we’ll visit Tashichho Dzong—the Fortress of Glorious Religion. Afterward, you’ll have free time to explore the local market, where vibrant crafts and friendly locals await. This journey to Bhutan promises a perfect blend of breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and cultural immersion—an experience you won’t want to miss!
Night Stay: Thimphu
After a delightful breakfast, get ready for a full day of exploring the capital city, Thimphu. Our first stop is the awe-inspiring Kuensel Phodrang, home to the majestic Buddha Statue that stands tall overlooking the valley, radiating peace and tranquility. Next, we’ll visit the National Memorial Chorten, a revered monument where you’ll experience the spiritual energy of Bhutanese traditions. Our journey continues at the Folk Heritage Museum, offering a fascinating glimpse into Bhutanese culture and history. Then, we’ll stop by the Painting School, where you can witness the incredible craftsmanship behind traditional Bhutanese art. Afterward, we’ll visit the Takin Preserve Centre to catch a glimpse of Bhutan’s national animal, the takin, in its natural habitat. The day will also take us to the lively CFM Market, where the local culture is on full display, and we’ll relax at Changlimithang Park, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. After a day full of exploration and discovery, we’ll return to the hotel, where you’ll have the evening free to rest, relax, and reflect on the beauty of Thimphu.
Night Stay: Thimphu
We depart Thimphu and make our way toward the peaceful Phobjikha Valley. En route, we stop at Dochula Pass, where 108 chortens stand proudly against a backdrop of sweeping Himalayan views—a perfect moment of reflection above the clouds.
As we continue, the road winds into the serene expanse of Phobjikha, a glacial valley known for its wide open meadows, traditional Bhutanese homes, and as the winter home of the sacred black-necked cranes. Quiet and untouched, the valley offers a sense of calm unlike anywhere else in Bhutan.
In the afternoon, we trek the gentle Gangtey Nature Trail, a two-hour walk through forests, fields, and quaint villages. It’s one of Bhutan’s most beautiful and accessible nature trails, offering a perfect introduction to the valley’s natural beauty.
We then visit the Phobjikha Visitor Center to learn about the valley’s unique ecosystem before spending a peaceful evening at leisure, surrounded by nature’s silence and mountain air.
Night Stay: Phobjika.
Leaving behind the quiet charm of Phobjikha, we journey toward the warmer, greener valley of Punakha. On the way, we stop at Chimi Lhakhang, the Temple of Fertility, reached by a short walk through scenic rice fields. Known for its playful history, the temple offers blessings and insight into Bhutanese spirituality.
In Punakha, we explore the iconic Punakha Dzong, a stunning fortress set between two rivers, known for its rich history and beautiful architecture. Nearby, we cross the suspension bridge, Bhutan’s longest, offering panoramic views and fluttering prayer flags overhead.
For those seeking excitement, an optional rafting trip on the Mo Chhu River awaits. This 10 km course features 10 gentle rapids and takes about 1.5 hours—perfect for enjoying the valley from a unique perspective. The day ends with time to relax, surrounded by Punakha’s lush landscapes.
Night Stay: Punakha.
After an early breakfast, we’ll check out and begin our scenic drive to Paro. Along the way, we’ll stop to visit the historic Tamchog Iron Bridge, a stunning example of Bhutanese engineering and tradition, surrounded by breathtaking views of the Paro Valley. The bridge’s unique design and peaceful surroundings will make for a perfect moment to pause and appreciate Bhutan’s natural beauty. Upon reaching Paro, we’ll check into your hotel, where you can relax and unwind. In the evening, you’ll have free time to explore the charming Paro town. Wander through its quaint streets, visit local shops, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this beautiful town. Paro’s blend of natural beauty, culture, and history will leave you enchanted as you prepare for the adventures that awaits.
Night Stay: Paro.
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll embark on a journey to the world-famous Taktsang Monastery, also known as the Tiger’s Nest. This iconic monastery, perched high on a cliff, is one of Bhutan’s most sacred sites. The 2-3 hour hike to the top is a truly unforgettable experience, with each step bringing you closer to one of the most serene and awe-inspiring places in the world. The view from the top, overlooking the valley below, is nothing short of breathtaking. After our spiritual adventure, we’ll visit the beautiful Kyichu Monastery, a peaceful retreat that dates back to the 7th century. Alternatively, for those looking for an additional adventure, we can drive up to Chelela Pass, where you’ll be treated to stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas. (Optional) Later, we’ll explore the historic Ta Dzong, an ancient watchtower turned museum, and the majestic Rimpung Dzong, a symbol of Bhutanese heritage. Afterward, you’ll have free time to wander through Paro’s charming streets, do some shopping, or simply soak in the town’s peaceful atmosphere. Today offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and adventure, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.

After breakfast, we’ll check out and begin our journey to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Station for your onward travel. What is the cancellation policy?
- 25% of the full amount to be paid if cancellation is made 15 days or more before the trip starts.
- 50% of the full amount to be paid if cancellation is made 8 to 15 days before the trip starts.
- 100% of the full amount to be paid if cancellation is made 7 days before the trip starts.
- All applicable cancellation refund will be made within 10 days of raising the concern.
Payment Terms & Conditions
REGISTRATION: The registration is open to all on first come first serve basis. After confirmation of the package, deposit the 50% amount of the Total Package Costing. The balance amount is payable seven days prior to the scheduled departure or before. Delayed payments will attract penalties.
